The Orise artillery is getting stronger. 12 multi-guided WR-40 Langust rocket launchers went to the 15th Mechanized Brigade. Together with the K9A1 Thunder Haubics received last year, the launchers will importantly increase the capabilities of the unit. Poland Langusta replaces the usage of advice equipment, including the haubice of Worźdźk.
According to earlier Commanders' announcementsColonel Tadeusz Żyborski, self-propelled artillery squadron 15 The Giant Mechanized Brigade late adopted 12 pieces of WR-40 Langust along with ammunition trucks. The launchers on Jelcza's chassis went to Orisz from 1 The Mazury Artillery Brigade in Węgorzewwhere soldiers of the Orzy squadron take part in specialized training. Courses with service WR-40 Langusta are besides held in Rocket and Artillery Training Centre in Toruń.

The first Polish WR-40 Langusta launchers began to enter combat units in 2008. Currently, in Huta Stalowa Wola, preparations are underway for the transportation of accompanying vehicles for 3 squadron modules of multi-guided rocket launchers.
