Gdańsk Bay dredging under LNG terminal

Dredging work on the bottom of the Gulf of Gdańsk started in the area of the future GAZ-SYSTEM LNG terminal. This is the first specified task in Poland – the floating FSRU terminal is to warrant fresh possibilities of importing gas by sea and increase the country's energy security. The work will cover almost 656 1000 m2 of water. The installation is planned to be put into service at the turn of 2027 and 2028. 3 facts: Deepening, purifying and preparing the wharf Before the work was started, the bottom was cleared of ferromagnetic objects.
