On Wednesday Donald Tusk paid a visit to the method Institute of the Air Force in Warsaw. At the press conference, the head of the government announced changes in arms and said that "we will not invest Polish money in abroad equipment indefinitely".
Tusk besides addressed the war in Ukraine. "There are many signs indicating that possibly the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will be suspended at least in the close future, but that does not change our situation at all," he said.

– Poland must be ready to defend regardless of the developments on the Russian-Ukrainian front and we cannot lose an hr or a day, including the race for a modern army, so it is absolutely crucial that we see here," he added.
He previously emphasized that "today the war is won by intelligent troops, better equipped, on a higher level of technology". "All this, which has been presented to me today, shows how much the modern army is changing. An army that wants to win future conflicts, which wants to effectively defend the territory, the safety of its citizens, must technologically overtake competitors," he said.
On Monday Donald Trump said Vladimir Putin "must agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine within 10 or 12 days". He threatened to otherwise impose sanctions and additional duties on Moscow.
