Dear Rotarians, Dear Rotarians, Friends in Rotary,
In the coming Rotarian year, many of you will take up service in your clubs, carrying out the tasks and duties that can enable your club to operate – and the full Rotary. Presidents Elect Learning Seminar (PELS) is besides approaching, which will be held in our territory from 20 to 22 March in Łódź, at the Ambassador Hotel.
At our peculiar gathering will be the manager of Elekt region 17 and 18 Rotary global – Sofia Gisladottir.
I invitation not only the Elect Presidents and future Club Secretarys to participate in the training – for whom this training is compulsory training (!). My own experience tells me that taking part in territory training is besides a large thought for fresh members of clubs who are just starting their adventure with Rotarians, and thanks to the gathering Rotarians from all over Poland can establish fresh contacts and friendships, but above all – gain fresh experiences and see fresh opportunities.
I would like to ask the Presidents and Secretaries of the Clubs who have not yet done so so that before coming to PELS they registry on my.rotary.org and then have taken advantage of the online training possibilities provided for the function they will perform. For this purpose, after logging in, choice the “Knowledge & Resources” tab and proceed “Resources by Role”. There you will find training materials (in English) for Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers and Club Committee members, as well as for fresh Club members.
PELS starts on Friday at the General Assembly and ends on Sunday after breakfast. The detailed programme will be published soon.
