Head of the Chancellery of the president of Poland Zbigniew Bogucki On Wednesday on platform X, he submitted a message by president Nawrocki on this matter.

"After proceeding the Resolution of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of 25 June 2025 on the study of the National Broadcasting Council of 2024 (...) and the argument presented by the Sejm and the legislature in support of positions to reject the KRRiT study of the activity in 2024, I declare that I categorically disagree with the argument contained in the abovementioned resolutions of the Sejm and the legislature and so I do not confirm the expiry of the word of office of the members of the Council" - wrote the president in a message quoted by the president's chief of law firm.

The President's approval is essential until the KRRiT is removed.

Let us remind that, in accordance with the Constitution's provisions, in the case of rejection of the study by the Sejm and the Senate, the word of office of all members of the National Broadcasting Council expires within 14 days of the last resolution being adopted.

At the same time, pursuant to Article 12(5), the word of office is not automatically terminated - it must be confirmed by President of the Republic of Poland.
