Christmas has a clear and seasonal impact on GDP - VeloBank analysts believe. They estimation that purchases in the pre-Christmas period account for about 10% of yearly trade activity, which translates into an increase in GDP dynamics in the 4th fourth by 0.5 percent points, or about 6 billion PLN.
