Shocked British follow forecasts that Poles overtake them in terms of GDP and real income per head over a decade. The land of the mediocre that has been drawn to the Isle for centuries now appears as a state of spectacular success. We may be amazed and laughing, but more and more Western people consider Poland a safe country and a modern and prosperous adequate country to live here.
