The Associated Press informs that the fresh Polish administration has begun the process of liberation of state media. AP refers to events that took place in Poland on Wednesday. “The Conservative party, which held power for the last 8 years, dominated this media, and Prime Minister Donald Tusk's cabinet announced on Wednesday that he had cancelled the directors of state television, radio and state news agency,” wrote AP.
The American agency underlines that “the Tusk government has set itself the nonsubjective of restoring objectivity and freedom of expression in state media”. He notes that the erstwhile government, controlled by the Law and Justice, utilized them as “tools of aggressive propaganda”, attacking Tusk and opposition and promoting Eurosceptic views.

The next part of the article concerns the current rulers. The coalition of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who took power last week, announced the creation of information services about a more balanced approach. On Tuesday, the fresh parliament adopted a resolution calling for "all state authorities to take immediate action to reconstruct the constitutional order of access for citizens to reliable information and the functioning of public media".
The vote prompted PiS MPs to organize an business action in state tv buildings – as Al Jazeera calls it – during which organization activists posed for photos with tv workers. The PiS government was frequently criticized by opposition and non-profit organizations for trying to choke independent media and restrict freedom of speech.
