Two of our F-16 fighters and soldiers of the Polish Army from the garrison command regiment took part in the parade organized on 14 July on the occasion of the French national festival – Bastille Day*. 1 of the main attractions was the military parade marching the Elysée Fields – the most celebrated artery of Paris. It was attended by 6.7 1000 soldiers (mainly French), 20 from Ukraine, as well as a 500-person formation consisting of troops representing 35 supporting states. Ukraine and declaring its readiness to supply safety guarantees. The show besides featured 98 aircraft, 31 helicopters and 315 vehicles.
President Emmanuel Macron invited many heads of state, government and global organizations to the ceremony. Prime Minister Donald Tuski, Volodymir Zelenski and European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen were present.
