Yesterday, by the streets of the capital, a march on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of the Kingdom of Poland and the 500th anniversary of the Prussian Hold. Even 100,000 people took part in it, and the “bird’s flight” shots make an incredible impression! On this occasion, the evidence fell and more than 1,000 pairs danced the polonaise.
Polonaise evidence beaten!
The event took place under the National Patronage of the president of Poland Andrzej Duda on the celebration of the Millennium of the Coronation of the First Kings of Poland. The march was preceded by a Thanksgiving Mass for 1,000 years by the Polish Kingdom in the Church of the Holy Cross.
Prior to the march, a rehearsal was held in the beating of the Polish evidence in the polonaza dance, which led the Historical Dance squad CROREA ANTIQUA. The counting justice announced that 1165 couples participated in the polonaise. The erstwhile evidence of September 2024 belonging to Sokolov Podlaski was 635 pairs.
‘God, Honor and Homeland”
The march took off in the afternoon from the Monument of Mikołaj Kopernik and went further to Krakowskie Przedmieście close the Royal Castle. Among the songs sung by the crowd in addition to “Mazurka Dąbrowski” were “The Song of the Confederates of Bary” and “Bogurodoc”.
Participants had with them many white-red flags and banners, including “Always faithful, God, Honor, Homeland”, “1000 years of the Kingdom of Poland”, or “Free Darius Matecki’s political prisoner”. There were besides banners expressing support for Nawrocki. Among the gathered people there were shouts: “God, honor and homeland”, “Do not fear Tusk” and “Here is Poland, not Brussels”. any of the participants of the march were dressed in folk costumes.
During yesterday's march besides PiS politicians participated, among others, the president of this organization Jarosław Kaczyński, Przemysław Czarnek, Marlena Maląg, Piotr Gliński.
