XXVI Pope's Day under the motto “St. John Paul II, missionary student”

XXVI The Papal Day will be celebrated this year in Poland and in Polish communities around the planet on 11 October under the motto "St. John Paul II, student missionary".

In 2025, over PLN 12 million was collected during the celebrations for scholarships for talented youth.

During the press conference on Thursday at the KEP Secretariat in Warsaw, the slogan of this year's 20th Pontifical Day was announced on Sunday preceding the anniversary of the election of Fr. Charles Wojtyla for the Pope.

The president of the Foundation Council "The Work of the fresh Millennium" Fr. Archbishop Adrian Galbas explained that this year's slogan of the Papal Day – "St. John Paul II, a student missionary" – refers to the subject of the pastoral year in Poland, which reads: "Students-missionaries".
