Objective | Competition Help save the life of the helpless encourages young people to reflect on the value of life and human dignity. Parents and educators give concrete information about what the young generation thinks about pro-life and what arguments it uses in its discussions.

The competition that saved the kid of | Teenagers from Żelechow made a competition movie entitled Formula. His heroes are quarreling spouses. My husband is simply a soldier and leaves for a peace mission before he finds out his wife is pregnant. A fewer weeks later, a female discovers that she has leukemia and must choose which fight will be a precedence – for her or for the child. After the teen movie went online, a parent from Białystok spoke to them. She said she didn't have an abortion due to him.

Patron – Blessed Fr Jerzy Popieluszko | It's called "a cradle protector." He said that "The task of the Church is not only the theoretical proclamation of the sanctity of life, the right to life unborn, but besides the applicable defence of that right." He helped financially and organizationally single mothers and young pregnant girls. He was preparing food packages and baby expeditions, giving out medication. He was a wellness minister.

Rules of Procedure of the 21st National Youth Competition
"Help save lives for the helpless"

§ 1. nonsubjective of the competition

  1. Developing sensitivity to the value of life among young people by promoting pro-life themes.
  2. Encouraging young people to creatively think and uncover their artistic, journalistic, literary, movie talents.
  3. Shaping young people's imagination and ability to present the planet around them.

§ 2. Organizer of the competition

  1. The competition is organised by the Polish Association of Human Life Defenders based in Krakow, hereinafter referred to as the Organizer.
  2. Address of the Organizer: 24/6 Krewoderska Street, 31–142 Kraków.
  3. For matters related to the Contest, the Organizer shall make available a telephone number 12 421 08 43 (the Organizer's office) and an email address: # I don't know #.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to change the content of the Rules of Procedure and to resolve matters not contained in the Rules of Procedure. Any changes will be published at: contest.pro-life.pl

§ 3. Author/Participants of the Competition

  1. The author of the work/Participants of the competition is simply a individual who meets age criteria (for individual categories) who has submitted and sent the competition work resulting from her own (or collective) creative work.

§ 4. Worker

  1. The employer may be a teacher, catechet, educator or, in peculiar cases, another adult (e.g. a parent) who takes care of the associate of the competition during the creation and collection of news to it, materials.

§ 5. Legal guardian

  1. The legal guardian is the individual who has the care and protection over the child's individual and property interests; he is his legal typical (he takes legal action on his behalf).

§ 6. Organizational assumptions

  1. The competition is intended for young people from all over Poland and will be settled in 3 age brackets:

a. pupils in grades IV to VI of primary schools,

b. pupils in grades VII to VIII of primary schools,

c. secondary school pupils excluding post-secondary schools.

  1. The competition will be settled in 3 categories: literary, plastic and multimedia in each of the 3 mentioned age brackets. Each work can only be assigned to 1 of the above categories.
  2. To participate in the competition, delight fill in the online form on the Competition Organizer website: contest.pro-life.pl. After clicking on the “Send application for the contest”, the competition associate (Work Author) will receive a PDF file with a completed application form on the form. The PDF file (the application form) received must be printed and, after the associate has signed the Contest, the parent or legal guardian (for underage persons) and the occupation manager, send a conventional message or courier to the address of the Organizer. This besides applies to works sent electronically. In the case of work sent physically, the notification form shall be sent in the consignment together with the work. The deficiency of a decently completed form will prevent the Organizer from qualifying for the evaluation and sending the diploma.
  3. Literary and multimedia works up to 512 MB are accepted only online via a form on the competition website: contest.pro-life.pl in electronic form, in the formats: pdf, ppt, pptx, ppsx, ppsx, odp, jpg, gif, tif, mpg, mp4, mov, mp3, wav (work can be compressed in zip or rar form). For files with more than 512 MB, e.g. longer films, should be saved on a DVD or flash drive and then sent by message or courier to the address of the Organizer together with the completed and signed application form received to the email address given at the time of registration.
  4. Category work literary they must meet the following criteria:

a. example form of work: poem, story, novel, reportage and another literary and journalistic genres,

b. the work cannot be performed collectively, i.e. by more than 1 individual (including by another persons),

c. literary works should be sent to the Organizer only online in electronic form via a form on the competition website: contest.pro-life.pl, in the form of a file with a volume of up to 512 MB in pdf format (file may be compressed to zip or rar format),

d. the work must be signed by the work author's name and by the title of the work inside the file (left advanced corner of the first page of the work),

e. the printed application form after the associate has signed the Contest, the parent or guardian (for minors) and the occupation manager must be sent by conventional message or courier to the address of the Organizer with the addition of the Competition.

  1. Category work Plastic they must meet the following criteria:

a. example of work: poster, graphics, picture, photograph, collage, sculpture, school or parish case,

b. any work technique,

c. maximum work format permissible — A0,

d. the work cannot be performed collectively, i.e. by more than 1 individual (including by another persons),

e. works of art should be sent to the address of the Competition Organizer only by physical message or courier (Polish Life Defenders Association, 24/6 Krewoderska Street, 31–142 Kraków) with the entry ‘Competition’,

f. printed application form from the competition website: contest.pro-life.pl After the associate has signed the competition, the parent or guardian (for underage persons) and the occupation manager, it is essential to send a conventional message or courier to the address of the Organizer with the work.

  1. Category work multimedia they must meet the following criteria:

a. example form of work: website, film, radio program, computer multimedia program, presentation, video clip,

b. multimedia works in the form of a file up to 512 MB should be sent to the Organizer online in electronic form via the form on the competition website: contest.pro-life.pl. The acceptable file format is: pdf, ppt, pptx, pps, ppsx, odp, jpg, gif, tif, mpg, mp4, mov, mp3 or wav (work can be compressed in zip or rar form). In the case of files with more than 512 MB, e.g. longer films, they should be sent by post on a DVD or flash drive together with a completed application form, whose lower part with the work Author's name and title must be cut and attached to the carrier consignment,

c. the work must be signed by the work author's name and by the title of the work in a way that clearly identifies it,

d. the printed application form after the associate has signed the Contest, the parent or guardian (for underage persons) and the occupation guardian, must be sent by conventional message or courier to the address of the Organizer with the addition of the Competition. This besides applies to works sent electronically.

  1. The deadline for sending works sent electronically or physically is 13 February 2026 (the date of receipt of work and the form to the Organizer). Works submitted after the specified deadline will not be subject to a competition assessment.
  2. Each competition associate may send to all 3 categories in its age bracket any number of works, provided that in each category it can receive only 1 award.
  3. Each occupation must be generated and a separate application form sent.
  4. The Promoter allows only works containing a decently completed online application form and its printout with all required signatures sent to the Organizer's address.
  5. In case of collective work, each Co-author is obliged to join the work of a separate application form.
  6. In the case of collective work, all authors should belong to the same age category. In another cases, where the work has many authors who belong to different age categories, the reported work is assigned to the age category of the oldest participant.
  7. W The competition may besides take part in works already published but not before 1 September 2023.

§ 7. Winners and Distinguished

  1. The winner of the competition is simply a individual who, by decision of the Competition Commission, ranked first, second or 3rd in 1 of the categories, in the appropriate age bracket.
  2. Distinguished in the competition is the individual who by decision of the Competition Commission received an award in 1 of the categories, in the appropriate age bracket.

§ 8. Evaluation of competition works

  1. The selection of the winners of the competition shall be decided by the Competition Committee appointed for this purpose.
  2. The Commission shall be appointed by the Organizer.
  3. The evaluation criteria shall be as follows:

a. a affirmative approach to the subject of defending human life,

b. quality of performance,

c. originality,

d. the degree of difficulty corresponding to the age of the author,

e. composition,

f. Artistic qualities.

  1. The Commission will measure only work relating to themes of the protection of human life.
  2. The submitted works should have a affirmative message and should not contain any drastic pictures, images or descriptions. Works containing drastic pictures, images or descriptions will be rejected by the Competition Commission.
  3. The decisions of the Competition Commission shall be final.
  4. The Commission will not measure work that does not meet all the conditions of the Rules of Procedure, e.g. without a decently completed and signed notification form.

§ 9. Announcement of competition results

  1. The alphabetical list of winners and winners will be published on the Organizer's website contest.pro-life.pl and on Fanpage of the Organizer on Facebook6 March 2025.
  2. Announcement of the results of the competition with presentation of the works and solemn awards will take place during the Final Gala of the Competition, which will take place on 21 March 2026 at Jasna Góra. In peculiar cases, the venue and deadline of the Final Gala may be changed. The organiser will inform you about any change on the website www.pro-life.pl and on your Facebook fanpage.
  3. Winners are obliged to inform the Organizer of their participation in the awards gala by telephone: 12 421–08-43 or by e-mail: [email protected] a week in advance.

§ 10. Main and additional prizes

  1. The organiser will grant the first, second and 3rd place in each of the 3 categories in each of the 3 age brackets, unless there are no grounds for granting any of the seats.
  2. The organiser has the right to award any number of distinctions.
  3. In case of reporting of works with more than 1 Author (collective work) Please indicate in the Competition Form the individual who will receive the award or award if awarded. The another co-authors will receive their diplomas.
  4. For the 1st, IIrd, IIIrd place in each category for simple school students there are prizes in kind for e- equipment, board games and books. For the taking of seats I, II and III in each category for pupils of secondary schools, cash prizes are provided: place I – 2000 PLN, place II – 1500 PLN and place III – 1000 PLN. In addition, the winners will receive diplomas.
  5. Additional distinctions for authors of the most interesting works will be publications in pro-life publications.
  6. Until 30 May 2024. The caretakers will receive a letter of thanks.
  7. All competition participants will receive diplomas for participating in the Contest.

§ 11. Final provisions

  1. Taking part in the Contest, the competition associate accepts its Rules of Procedure.
  2. The Rules of the Competition are available on the website contest.pro-life.pl and at the Organizer's headquarters.
  3. The associate of the competition accepting the Rules of Procedure declares that the competition work is the consequence of his own creative work and he is entitled to all individual and property rights and they are not limited in any way or burdened with the rights of 3rd parties. Any claims of 3rd parties resulting from a breach of their rights shall be held by the competition associate or its parent/legal guardian.
  4. In the case of a legitimate usage of content (texts, musical works or fragments thereof, photographs, images, etc.) not written by the Participant, delight supply the author and origin of the content used.
  5. The associate agrees to the free publication of his work in information and educational publications published by the Organizer (print, digital media and online) and to display it and broadcast it on TV. If you want to usage the work by another organisations and media (e.g. sponsors and patrons of the Competition) this is possible with the additional approval of the competition associate or/and the parent/legal guardian.
  6. Participant of the competition, accepting the Rules of Procedure, agrees to process his individual data included in the application form for the intent of conducting the Contest, selecting winners and awarding awards, issuing, receiving and clearing awards, and for marketing, promotional and advertising purposes of the Organizer, including the introduction of data into the database of which the admin is the Organizer, including in the future, with unchanged processing purposes.
  7. Maintainer agrees to process his individual data included in the application form for the intent of conducting the competition and for marketing, promotional or advertising purposes of the Organizer, including the introduction of data into the database of which the Organizer is the administrator, including in the future, with unchanged processing purposes.
  8. The admin of specified individual data is the Organizer of the Competition – Polish Association of Defenders of Human Life based in Krakow. In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) The competition organiser shall inform that he collects and processes individual data in accordance with the information clause on the processing of individual data, the content of which is available at: Pro-life.pl/clause.
  9. The name of the competition associate may be given publically and published on the website and on Fanpage of the Organizer on Facebook to present a list of the winners of the competition or presentation of the competition works.
  10. Participants of the Competition have the right to view and correct the content of the data provided. The submission of data in the application form is voluntary, although refusing to give it is tantamount to not being able to participate in the competition.
  11. Underage competition participants study their competition work with the cognition and consent of parents or legal guardians, certified by signature on the application form. The parents or legal guardians of a insignificant associate of the competition declare that the submitted work is the consequence of his own creative work and that he is entitled to any individual and property copyright and that they are not in any way limited or burdened with the rights of 3rd parties. The parents or legal guardians of a insignificant associate of the Competition shall be liable for any claims of 3rd parties resulting from a violation of their rights.
  12. Parents or legal guardians of a insignificant associate agree for free publication of his work in information and educational publications published by the Organizer (print, digital media and on the Internet) and displaying and broadcasting it. If you want to usage the work by another organisations and media (e.g. sponsors and patrons of the Competition) this is possible with the additional approval of the competition associate or/and the parent/legal guardian.
  13. Parents or legal guardians of a insignificant associate agree to process his individual data included in the application form for the intent of conducting the Contest, selecting winners and awarding awards, issuing, receiving and clearing awards, and for marketing, promotional and advertising purposes of the Organizer, including the introduction of data into the database of which the admin is the Organizer, including in the future, with unchanged processing purposes.
  14. Parents or legal guardians of a insignificant associate agree for the free usage of the posted work in the statutory activities of the Organizer, and for the processing and publication of individual data of their own and of the author, and for the publication to the public of the author's name in any notices, announcements and information about the competition and its results in accordance with the information clause concerning the processing of individual data, the content of which is available at: Pro-life.pl/clause.
