The last time Chinese leader Xi Jinping arrived in Moscow in March 2023. His visit then took place in the face of Putin's threats, which spoke of the usage of atomic weapons in the war against Ukraine. This was Xi Jinping's first abroad journey after his re-election as president of the People's Republic of China.
