Strengthening NATO Combat Group in Romania

Deputy Commander of the Multinational South-East NATO Division in Romania, General Loïc Girard, confirmed the reinforcement of the NATO conflict Group to a brigade level of about 4000 soldiers by 2025. The brigade will be deployed to Cincu in the territory of Braszów and will operate in Romania for respective weeks, as part of a NATO exercise to test the metastasis and deploy the full brigade in a short time. The soldiers will then be subject to rotation.
