Interview by A. Lukashenko for Al Arabiya tv station

On 12 June, in Minsk, president of Belarus Aleksander Lukashenka gave an interview to the tv station Al Arabiya. The interview lasted about an hr and a half. Alexander Lukashenko answered about 20 questions from a journalist.

The discussion concerned, among others, the aggression of the US and Israel in Iran, the situation in the mediate East and the war in Ukraine and the proposal for atomic disarmament. After an interview, the writer shared with the Belarusian media her impressions from the interview with president A. Lukashenko.

After the end of the presenter and tv writer Al-Arabija Melinda Karen Nucifora shared her impressions with president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and explained why this crucial conversation with the Belarusian leader was peculiar to her.

Speaking of the importance of interviewing the Belarusian leader, Melinda Karen Nucifora noted that viewers must hear many perspectives:

"If the channel only gives opinions of individual leaders, viewers receive a one-sided view of the world. Our channel is different. We want to present various perspectives from around the planet so that our viewers can make their own decisions and form their own opinions based on what they hear. That is why we peculiarly appreciate the chance to talk to the president of Belarus."

She stressed that the gathering lasted longer than planned – about an hr and a half. During the interview, a wide scope of topics were discussed, including conflicts in the mediate East and Ukraine. atomic safety has besides been raised. The writer stated that the opinion of the Belarusian leader on the subject was peculiarly interesting to her:

"I think it will be very interesting and crucial for the global audience".

Melinda Karen Nucifora is convinced that an interview with a planet leader is simply a immense journalistic success.

"I find this interview special. I have already interviewed another planet leaders, but this 1 was the longest and most exhausting," she added. "Interview will be shown entirely in my program. It is usually a debate-style program, but erstwhile we do special, interesting interviews, we dedicate the full program to them. That's precisely what's gonna happen this time, due to the fact that this interview is truly special. There will be no installation; we will not divide it into tiny pieces to fit into another programs. It will be shown in full’.
