On December 15, applications for the MilTech Acceleration Programme, implemented by Akces NCBR in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defence, began. The programme is aimed at scientific, engineering and start-ups teams developing technologies with real implementation possible for the defence and safety of the state. On December 15, Akces NCBR, together with the Ministry of Defence, announced the launch of the recruitment for the MilTech Acceleration Program. technological teams, engineers and young technology companies can apply for and apply for support in developing solutions that respond to the real needs of defence and the state safety system.

The MilTech programme focuses on speeding up the development, investigating and preparation for technology deployment in key areas identified by the Ministry of National Defence, including space and satellite technologies, maritime infrastructure security, unmanned aircraft and military-relevant areas and facilities protection systems and artificial intelligence in the service of drone swarms - AI solutions supporting autonomous navigation, interaction and decision-making by BSP swarms.

Participants of the program can number on the grant offered by Akces NCBR: a non-refundable grant for technology improvement of PLN 300 1000 and PLN 100 1000 for mentoring of manufacture and military experts. Through cooperation with the Ministry of Defence for beneficiaries, the investigating way and cooperation with the organization user will besides be available. The aim of the programme is to prepare projects for real implementation and their further cooperation with the military.

Arleta Malasińska, president of Akces NCBR, referring to the launch of the Programme stressed - We are launching recruitment to MilTech so that Polish innovative ideas can decision faster from concepts to real technologies strengthening the safety of the state. This is now very crucial and very essential from the point of view of both the economy and widely understood security. Importantly, the programme combines financial support with mentoring, and we are presently in talks with possible implementation partners. specified actions will importantly increase the chances of future effective implementation.

– MilTech is simply a real way of cooperation between technological teams and the military. We open recruitment to projects that respond to circumstantial operational needs. We are ready to consult and implement solutions that actually increase defence capabilities," added Brig. Gen. Marcin Górka, manager of the Department of Innovation of the Ministry of Defence.

The MilTech programme was officially announced last Friday during the event organized by Akces NCBR, which took place at the walls of the Military method Academy in Warsaw, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of National Defence including Mr.Cezary Tomczyk, Secretary of State of MON, manager of NCBR prof. Jerzy Małachowski, technological community and public administration.
