Special Envoy Donald Trump for Greenland, Louisiana politician Jeff Landry, said on Friday that the president of the United States takes the plan of taking control of the island seriously. He calmed down that he believed that "a deal could be made" on the Arctic island and "it would be concluded". Can his assurances be trusted? The media portrays him as an amateur diplomat, a figure akin to Steve Witkoff, unsuccessfully negotiating an agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
