In Żagań, sports activities in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland were solemnly summarized in 2025. A cup for winning the overall classification was won by the representation of the 11th Armored Cavalry Division. On the another hand, the most individual distinctions, including in the category of champion of universal sport, were received by Lieutenant Marcin Kołoszuk of the 3rd Fleet Ships.
The host of the Military athletics Gala was 11th Armoured Cavalry Division. At the Military Club in Żagań, he awarded the best representations and athletes in competition in the general athletics General defends Stanisław Czosnek, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Polish Army. During the gala, the general stressed twice that the winner is not the 1 who won and won first place. “Everyone is simply a winner if he falls, stands up and tries again,” noted the deputy head of SGWP. He besides thanked all organizers of universal sport, the best athletes and representatives and hosts of a well organized gala.
Summary of effort
The title of Masters of the Polish Army in the General athletics in 2025 was won by the hosts of the gala, 11 DKPanc. The results consisted of points obtained by individual representations in championships in 12 sports disciplines. The worst appearance in the championships was not taken into account until the final score. On behalf of the winners, the cup was received by Gen. Piotr Fajkowski, unit commander and Major Tomasz Traczuk, head of the Section for Physical Education and athletics 11 DKPanc.
It is worth noting that the core of the winning squad are soldiers from Żagania, Świętszów, Międzyrzeza, Bolesławca, Zielona Góra and Czerwieńska. However, not only representatives of the 11 DKPanc units are represented, but besides athletes from the 6th Airborne Brigade, the 1st Bomb Squad, the 5th Antichemical Regiment and the commands of the Police Training Centres of the Land Forces in Żagań and Wędrzyn.
The second place cup for the 16th Mechanized Division received: Gen. Div. Wojciech Ziółkowski, commander of 16 DZ and Major Piotr Kić, head of the Physical Education and athletics Section of this unit. The 3rd place was won by sailors. On behalf of their representation, the cup was received: Cadmium. Andrzej Ogrodnik, commander of the 3rd Fleet of Ships, who is liable for the selection and preparation of the typical of the MW and Mr Marcin Kołoszuk, Head of Section Physical Education and athletics 3 FO.
Kmdr. Kołoszuk, as last year, besides received a discrimination in the category of universal athletics champion. He was appreciated for his versatility and winning 4 gold medals in 3 sports: defeating physical fitness centre, multi-soldier and patrol. The four-time WP champion in 2025 was besides thanked for his commitment to the improvement of physical education and athletics in the Ministry of National Defence.
Together with him were honoured: St. Chor. Krzysztof Jaworski (11 DKPanc), Major Piotr Szpigel (9th Armoured Cavalry Brigade), St. Chor. Staff. Jarosław Julke (WOT), st. chor. mar. Michał Kaszuba (Marine Training Centre), st. chor. Wiesław Komoszewski (16 DZ) and plut. Tomasz Stasiak (12 BZ).
Receipting the kmdr lieutenant's prize. Kołoszuk admitted that from respective awards received in Żagań the most joy brought him the triumph by his representation of the 3rd place in the classification of general sports competition in the Polish Army. “This cup best summarizes the effort made by all the people active in this success. For this, for my part I am very grateful to all athletes – the head of section stressed. The commander besides added that he received the title of universal athletics champion is the culmination of the effort he put into preparation for the start in respective sports.
Individual successes
The gala besides distinguished individual athletes in all disciplines. They were picked up by: prof. Anita Jędras (1st Sapper Regiment) – the master of the Polish Army in multi-soldiers and defeating OSF, prof. Krzysztof Waszak (12th Mechanized Brigade) – the master in multi-soldier, st. Monika Brzozowska (12 large Polish Territorial Defence Brigade) is simply a master in cross-country runs at a distance of 3 km and in a relay run of 4x1 km, a rank of specialist Krzysztof Tschirch (23rd Artillery Regiment) is simply a master in 8 km and 4x2 km cross-country runs, and a master in orientation runs (in a elder relay), mar. Karolina Miller (Divition of Submarine Ships) is simply a champion in judo in a cat. 70 kg and squad runner-up, St. 73 kg and bronze squad medalist, Lieutenant-General Marcin Kołoszuk (Command of the 3rd Fleet of Ships) is simply a champion in the defeat of the OSF individually and teamly as well as in the soldier's multi-combat and squad champion in the patrol run, st. mat Joanna Terefenko (Center of Naval Training) is simply a champion in the patrol run and bronze medalist in the soldier's multi-combat, bsm. Adam Struk (Regional Centre of Information Technology Gdynia) is an individual and squad champion in the patrol run, st. Chor. staff. Adam Kaczmarek (Koszalin Air Force Training Centre) is simply a master in weapon shooting and squad runner-up, spit. Paweł Kamiński (12 BZ) – master in firearm shooting and squad runner-up, mar. Magdalena Rogal (44 Naval Aviation Base) – master in swimming classical kind at 50 m and in relay 4x50 m in freestyle, st. sergeant. Tomasz Rumianowski (Academy of Land Forces) is simply a master in dorsal swimming at 50 and 100 m and in a 4x50 m relay with any style, spit. Michał Kalata (10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade) is simply a master in sprinter and mid-distance and elder men's relays, St. Iwon Wich (Warship method Academy of Warsaw) – a champion in sprinter and mid-distance and women's relays, St. Piotr Janiak (25th Air Cavalry Brigade) – the best player in the volleyball championships, sword Wojciech Jakubiak (1st Bomber Regiment) – the best player in basketball championships, kpr. Marcin Mrówczyński (Center Training of Rocket Forces and Artillery) – the best player in the futsal championships.
During the gala, not only were the results obtained during the competition for medals of the Polish Army Championship, but besides the results of the yearly physical fitness test of professional soldiers. The military were distinguished, who achieved the best results in each competition. In the 3000 m run, the fastest were: Fr Paulina Kaczyńska from the 12th Mechanized Brigade (outcome:10 min) and bsmt Patryk Stypułkowski from the Regional Centre of Information Technology in Gdynia (8 min 16 s), while in continuous swimming for 12 minutes the longest distance was passed: Lieutenant Agnieszka Burdelak from the office of the Military Gendarmerie (812 m) and St.
In turn, it was best on the advanced pole that Fr Magdalena Krzemińska from the 8th Division of National Army Infantry (36 repetitions) and St. However, in the competition of bending and straightening arms in the subbasement the best were: spit. Beata Pietreewicz from the Academy of Land Army (62) and bsm. Marcin Adamski from the 6th Radioelectronic Centre (100).
In the 10x10 m shuttle run, the best they could do was: Katarzyna Sobierajska of the 5th Artillery Regiment (28.2 s) and St. Capt. Dawid Seraphinovich of the 1st Transport Aviation Base (26.2 s) and in the zigzag run after the envelope sign: St. Susann Kubick of the 9th Armored Cavalry Brigade (21.5 s) and St. Kamil Urbański of the 17th Mechanized Brigade (21.5 s). Finally, in the competition, the torso in the first 2 minutes led: Lieutenant Anna Grobelna of the Center for Epidemiological consequence of the SZ of Poland (93) and Lieutenant Kamil Krzyżanowski of the office of the Cyberspace defence Army (126).
Organisations and universities
During the gala, the best organizers of the Polish Army Championship were besides awarded. In this category, the 3rd Fleet of Ships (for organizing a championship in a multi-soldiers), 12th Military economical Branch (rolling gear), 16th Logistics Regiment (judo), 7th Coast defender Brigade (shooting with a military weapon and rifle), Centre for Communications and Information Technology Training (swimming), 18th Battalion Command (ballet), Naval Training Centre (surmounting OSF), 16th Lower Silesian Territorial Defence Brigade (runs on the ground), 31th Tactical Aviation Base (basketball) and 17th Mechanized Brigade (futsal).
The best movie from the Polish Army Championship was besides awarded for the first time. The trophy was received by Captain Marek Kiełczewski of the Centre for Communication and Computer discipline Training, who perfectly gave the spirit of competing for medals in swimming. Soldiers were besides remembered who were active in universal and competitive sports for many years, and ended their professional military service last year. Mr Janusz Porzycz, Mr Maciej Erdon, Mr Sławomir Kotas, Mr Maciej Kupryjańczyk, Mr Piotr Niewęgłowski, Mr Sławomir Stasiak, Major Andrzej Czai, Major Leszek Dziubałtowski and Major Bartosz Krygier were thanked.
In the Military Club, 11 DKPanc besides summarized the competition in the General Staff of the Polish Army. 3 best representations were distinguished: the Board of Organisations and individual Resources P1 (I place), the Centre for Doctrines and Training of Armed Forces (II place) and the Board of Property Planning P8 (III place).
The Cups were besides presented to representatives of the best representations in the classification of the Military University Championships in the Universal Party. The most points were won by the Army method Academy players, the second place was taken by athletes from the Land Army Academy, and the 3rd squad of the Air Military Academy.
