According to the results given on Sunday by the Central Election Commission, the local elections in Georgia were won by the ruling Georgian Dream party, receiving 81.7% of the vote. An anti-government protest continues in Tbilisi's capital despite the warnings of the Home Office that the assembly will be treated as an effort to overthrow power.
