Military exhaustion

I remember the 1990s erstwhile the military first became the object of political repression. At the time, in fact, the government had full control of the army, but the president. Lech Wałęsa utilized this prerogative with full handfuls, favoring the military – Admiral Piotr Kołodziejczyk and General Tadeusz Wilecki.

The political parties, mainly the Union of Freedom and the surrounding area, did not like it very much, demanded full subordination of the military to the parliament. And so it did after the 1997 Constitution was adopted, actually earlier. The president lost influence over the military, and further defence ministers became organization denominations, civilians. These were successively: Jan Parys, Janusz Onyszkiewicz, Zbigniew Okoński, Stanisław Dobrzański, Janusz Onyszkiewicz (for the second time), Bronisław Komorowski, Janusz Szmajdziński, Radosław Sikorski, Aleksander Szczyglo, Bogdan Klich, Tomasz Siemoniak, Antoni Macierewicz, Mariusz Błaszczak. full 12, including twice Onyszkiewicz. The average word was not besides high, from 152 days of Paris to 2092 days of Błaszczak. In the PRL, erstwhile the heads of the MON were military – their word was very long: Marian Skuszalski 4167 days and Wojciech Jaruzelski 5703 days! This compilation already shows the superiority of the military management strategy in PRL. What is characteristic of the 3rd Polish Republic – it is simply a mad carousel of positions, erstwhile ministers who play with the military like lead soldiers appear all day – prepared for war with Russia (Paris, Sikorski, Macierewicz), after dilettants like Bogdan Klich, after completely colourless like Okonski or Dobrzański. Jerzy Szmajdziński and Bronisław Komorowski had the best opinion.

However, there is simply a common denominator – all fresh organization minister deepened the state of collapse of the army, frustrated the officer's staff, led to the departure of the army and its permanent crisis. Tsunami began during the PiS period with the infamous memory of Minister Macerewicz and his “right hand” “legendary” already luckily Bartłomiej Misiewicz. The practice of alleged liberal democracy, consisting in the fact that the military manages a diletant from a political party, has already exhausted almost all armies of Western Europe, where, in addition, the military govern women-dilets, to mention only the unfortunate Bundeswehra ruled by specified a fewer of the military, as Mr Ursula von der Leyen, Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, or the already complete curiosium in the form of Mrs Christine Lambrecht. I would just add that in the United States, however, there is always a general in active service at the head of the Army and the Ministry of Defence, which is alternatively much better for the state of the military than for Western European countries.
Minister Mariusz Błaszczak inherited the army from mad and unstable Antoni Macerewicz and his right hand Bartłomiej Misiewicz. So it seemed like it couldn't get any worse. And yet, after chichi, he continued the process of demolition of the army, conflicting with command, discrediting professionals, and promoting the obedient. All of this took place and takes place at propaganda bustle in a kind different since Rydz-Śmigły. Tromtadration and saber swinging combined with dedication for free Ukraine has a large part of the weaponry, immense purchases of arms abroad, in the opinion of specialists without order and composition, but very expensive.
The resignations of 2 leading Polish generals, Romuald Andrzejczak and Tomasz Piotrowski, are definitely related to the state of the army and the kind of its management. I don't know if it would be better if they both did it much sooner, just after the Russian affair and the rocket under Bydgoszcz, erstwhile both were publically discredited by the minister. We don't know all the circumstances of this case, possibly someday we'll know them. More crucial is something else – the process of degradation of the army continues in the best and it will not be covered by regular propaganda spells about the strongest army in Europe, about not giving up 1 centimeter of Polish land to the enemy and photographs of the minister against the background of recently purchased equipment.
