The detonation of a mysterious object under the arch. There's a military message

On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday (19-20 August), an unidentified object fell into the cornfield in the Łukaszów territory (the Lublin province) and exploded. The force of the detonation was large adequate that the windows collapsed in the surrounding houses! There was speculation that the object might have been any kind of weapon that came to Lublin from above Ukraine. Operations Command of Types of Armed Forces issued a peculiar communication on this matter.

The incidental occurred at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20. As Marcin Józwik from the Łukasz Police gave to Radio Lublin, an detonation of an unknown component occurred in the field in Osiny.

"In the corn field, we found burnt elements of various sizes, scattered within a radius of tens of meters. These are burnt metallic and plastic remains" – said the same policeman later in a conversation with PAP.

The portal “Łuków.TV” reported that a crater was formed at the site of the explosion, and a propellerlike component was found among the remains of the object.

On Wednesday morning, the Operational Command of the RFA sent a message, which indicated that at night there was no breach of the Polish airspace by any Ukrainian or Belarusian facility.

"Information on the uncovering of an object, which, according to preliminary estimates, may form part of an old engine with a propeller, has been transferred to the Air Operations Centre – Air Component Command. At the site of the event, appropriate services work, including soldiers of the Military Gendarmerie, who conduct a detailed analysis of the facility. Air Force and Ground Search and Rescue Teams have been activated to check the area of the event," DORSZ informs.
