On 21 December, RADMOR signed a cooperation agreement with Gdańsk University of Technology concerning the implementation of joint projects related to maritime radio communications, command systems, unmanned maritime systems and another solutions intended for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.
Since its foundation in 1947, past RADMOR is associated with the sea and ship communication systems. Although the company from Gdynia gradually focused on military radio communications for land forces during 76 years of its activity, it never forgot its roots.
The signing of the letter of intent between Gdańsk University of Technology and RADMOR, concerning cooperation in the design, improvement and production of marine reconnaissance and impact platforms, military naval radio communications, command systems and another solutions intended for the Armed Forces of Poland, can be noted with this greater satisfaction.
Gdańsk University of Technology is simply a maker and supplier of underwater vehicles, and besides carries out extended investigation and improvement in the field of maritime solutions for the safety and defence of the state. The university has the essential human and material resources, investigation and technological infrastructure to carry out the most complex projects.
A associate of the WB Group, RADMOR of Gdynia, together with another entities participates in the programs of unmanned air, reconnaissance, multi-tasking and impact platforms and is simply a supplier of combat communication means. The company has the essential experience, infrastructure and engineering and production teams for the serial manufacture of military equipment.
The common cooperation between Gdańsk University of Technology and RADMOR will accomplish the desired synergies between manufacture and science, both in conducting investigation and task implementation as well as in the production of series advanced systems.
The agreement is part of the implementation of the broader strategy of the WB Group, which resulted in the expansion of the offer of the leading Polish maker of military electronics by ship communication platform FONET-NAVY. The system, based on proven components produced in thousands of copies, debuted in September 2023 at the global Defence manufacture Salon.
