Since 16 March this year, the Training Centre of the Territorial Defence Forces has been conducting the training “Remote Observer” – fire observers intended for allied troops. respective soldiers from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia participate in the classes, who get fresh cognition and skills under the watchful eye of CSWOT instructors.
The full training takes 2 weeks and is divided into 2 parts. In the first one, students improve their skills in the field of artillery fire guidance, while in the second one, actions are carried out in cooperation with military aviation.
"This course is another implemented in cooperation with the Baltic countries. It is an excellent chance to practice common procedures and exchange experiences. Thanks to specified a formula, both our instructors communicate cognition to our allies and frequently we have an chance to look at certain issues from a different perspective."
During the two-week classes, students have implemented issues specified as the designation of equipment and equipment of armies of another countries, the usage of fire observers during the implementation of the fire support procedure of subdivisions, and the usage of specialized ATAK application.
