Representatives attended the talks BDI (Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V.) — Federation of German Industry, chaired Tanji Gönner, manager of the General Organisation, accompanied by Heiko Willems, manager of the BDI office in Brussels, and SPCR (Svaz průmysl a dopravy ČR) — Confederation of manufacture of the Czech Republicrepresented by Daniel Urbanthe Director-General.

Confederation of Leviathan represented Margaret Mroczkowska-Horne (director-general), King Graf (Deputy manager General), Mariusz Zielonka (major economist) and Jakub Safjanski (director of the Department of Energy and the Closed Economy).

Deregulation, energy, globalisation

The discussion focused on 3 key areas: simplification at European Union level, the impact of advanced energy costs on industry, and fresh challenges arising from changes in the global trade order.

Why simpler rules are crucial for the competitiveness of companies? First of all, this means much little involvement, and so besides costs on the part of entrepreneurs, which allows to unlock not only monetary potential, but above all human engagement in business development," she said. Margaret the Dark-Horne.

First of all, we request to note that our globalisation model is under quite a few pressure, and this means that we request to rethink the way we have been working with our partners for years – and how to strengthen Europe again – she said Tanja Gönner.

One of the things the Commission can do is to reduce bureaucracy – to remove many provisions that have been adopted in the last 5 years, say. Another thing the Commission could aid with is reducing the cost of emanation allowances said Daniel Urban.

Common demands

Representatives of the 3 organisations agreed that Europe needs a strong, competitive and resilient economy based on trust, simple principles and cooperation between associate States.

Another gathering in the framework of tripartite cooperation between federations from Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic will be held next year in Prague.
