W A civilian protection cooperation gathering was held in Stockholm. The event was attended by representatives of the Baltic Sea countries, representatives of the European Union and NATO. Sweden, Poland, Germany, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the joint planning of evacuation of civilians in the event of major crises or wars. The government communication stresses that experience from Ukraine indicates the request to plan displacements of residents in order to defend them. The agreement covers many areas including evacuation routes, border controls, transport and reception procedures. Protection of the most susceptible (children, seniors, people with disabilities) was besides included.
International cooperation is simply a broader safety plan for the armed conflict. Poland has interior procedures for evacuation of the population. Among these are the estimates by the authorities of individual voivodships of accommodation places or the safety of means of transport.
