Polish writer Jakub Wiech was invited to the prestigious program of the U.S. State Department, but his invitation was cancelled just before arrival. Wiech claims that this decision was the consequence of efforts of a certain Polish political group. The situation sparked a sharp reaction from journalists and politicians.
