Wrocław: 14th LETNI FESTIVAL CULTURE POLONIA CANTANS 2024

Between Monday 29.07.2024 and Saturday 03.08.2024 , all day at 6 p.m., in the cinema hall NOT in Wrocław at ul. Piłsudskiego 74 there will be festival events which will precede an interesting poetic quarter.
Dear Participants and Friends of the 14th summertime Culture Festival POLONIA CANTANS 2024,
"To make Poland Poland and Europe Europe"
I am sending an invitation to take part in an crucial and interesting cultural event, with a clear patriotic and Christian message. "For Poland to be Poland and Europe" - this is what we all truly want, that is what the conscious or subconsciously determined majority of Poles want. It is crucial to decision the hearts and think of Poles, to show Poland in its full beauty, the greatness of spirit and culture, and at the same time in fact and frequently tragic history.
The programme of the festival is included in the attached afiche.
The cinema hall allows to show very valuable and beautiful movie recordings: (Monday - 29.07.2024) - the large performance of the pop-Oratory "The Mercy of God" - Hall of Centennial - 29.11.2010, (Tuesday - 30.07.2024) "Palace for the Queen - Fulfilled Prophecy" - movie about the Lichen Sanctuary and its builders Fr. Eugeniusz Makulski - June 2010, (Wednesday - 31.07.2024) - "Protect Polishness" - movie about Bohdan Poręba, manager of films "Hubal" and "Polonia Restituta", (Thursday - 01.08.201024) - "Chopin 44" - national musical by Wojciech Rohatyn Popkiewicz, directed by Jan Szurmiej - movie from the premiere in December 2023, (Friday - 02.08.2024) - Kapela Turobińska - "Quo vadis Polskie" - beautiful in the content and performance of a verbal-music program performed by wonderful youth from Lublin and their artistic and educational guardians.
The festival will end in Wrocław Saturday - 03.08.201224 recital by Jan Pietrzak - "Let Poland be Poland". Jan Pietrzak sang this song to president Ronald Regan in the USA immediately after the martial law was introduced in Poland, in 1981.
Sunday 04.08.2024. Mr. Jan will repeat his performance "To make Poland and Europe Europe" in Głogów at the Municipal Centre of Culture at 5 p.m.
