On 13 April, the Lower Silesian Memorial Day of Katyń Crime Victims was celebrated in the garrison basilica of St. The celebrations began with a Mass held in a military ceremony.

Throughout the Holy Mass at the altar there stood a coffin with the ground from the Katyn cemetery. Finally, they went to the Katyn Chapel, where this land was placed.
