On Monday, the Polish Military Museum held the main celebrations of the Terrestrial Executive Bodies of the Minister of National Defence, which play a key function in the recruitment and defence system. This task has been carried out since 2022 Central Military Recruitment Center (CWCR) which organises recruitment of candidates for the professional army, territorial, voluntary and military academies, as well as conducting promotional campaigns of the Polish Army, besides performs operational and defence tasks, specified as preparing units to make mobilization and reservists exercises.
During the holiday, Deputy Minister of Defence Stanisław Wzątek stressed that the CWCR is an institution that combines modernity and tradition in fulfilling its mission. “You are the ones on the front line of contact with the civilian world,” he said, pointing out that CWCR workers are becoming a military card for many young people who are looking for cooperation with the army or want to tie their future with it. The recruiters can meet not only behind the desk but besides at military picnics, labour fairs, colleges and schools.
During today's ceremony Jakub Stefaniak, Deputy Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, besides spoke, reminding that according to investigation 94 percent of society trusts the army. "It was you who thanked him," he turned to military recruiters. Their mission and work for the country was besides discussed Colonel Grzegorz Wawrzynkiewicz, Head of the Central Military Recruitment Center. “It is thanks to you and your commitment to regular duties that we have a strong, many army, and our countrymen can enjoy peace and security,” said the colonel.

The Central Military Recruitment Centre, which is liable for the recruitment strategy for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, coordinates the operations of 15 CWCR outpost centres in each voivodship and the Mazowieckie CWCR centre. The task of these institutions is to supervise 86 Military Recruitment Centres (WCRs), liable for conducting recruitment for military service.
MON's Terrestrial Executive Bodies Day is October 27. It was established to commemorate the signing of the first Law on the Universal work of Military Service in 1918. On 11 March 2022, the Home defence Act was passed, under which the Central Military Recruitment Center, outpost centres and military recruitment centres were established.
