As stressed by the Head of the General Staff of the HR, General Wiesław Kukuła, the soldiers-women play an increasingly crucial function in the functioning of the armed forces. He pointed out that they not only carry out supporting tasks, but increasingly besides service in combat specialties – they pilot aircraft and helicopters, service on ships, operate rocket systems and operate in peculiar units. According to the General, the military's usefulness is not determined by gender, but by physical predisposition, competence and determination.
