"We are completely moving distant from steel helmets for composite, safer and adapted to the modern battlefield," said Deputy Minister of defence Cezary Tomczyk of the Parliamentary Defence Committee, who in the General Staff of the Polish Academy of Sciences took note of the information about Szpej and Titan programs. "Only this year did we realize contracts for the transportation of nearly 80,000 composite helmets. We are focusing on improvement and modernisation, which results in the planned implementation of the HBT-02 helmet from the Titan programme," he added.
