Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 28.12.2025):
- On Saturday evening, Russia attacked Kiev and another parts of Ukraine with hundreds of rockets and drones.
- The Russians occupied most of the western part of Hulaipol. The last Ukrainian troops are withdrawing from the city.
- North of the city, Russian attacks on Ternuwate village continue.
- On the Pokrowski section there are dense fights over Rodynski, where Ukrainians one more time effort to break through to the circled in Myrnograd, troops.
- The Ukrainian commander of the Siwierz section was stripped of his position. The situation in this area is disastrous – the Russians have occupied all pre-prepared opposition points. They now have a strip of fields and fewer villages, which will velocity up their march at Sławansk.
- Russian forces approach Liman from the east and north.
- In the Kharkiv region, the Russians destroyed the bridge on the Pechnigovian reservoir close Old Saltiw.
- Trump talks with Zelenski proceed in the United States. Ukrainian leader said talks in Florida would focus on safety guarantees and territorial control after the fighting ended. However, fewer experts foretell that they will bring groundbreaking solutions.
