Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 17.12.2025):
- Ukrainians are being pushed off the next streets of Hulaypola. The city could collapse in the next week.
- The Russians have taken over the centre of Nowopawliwa. Only a weak defence of low construction in the northern part of the village remained to break.
- On the Liman section, Russian forces approach the village of Cowi Jar. More to the north, they took over Novopaltonivka, leading to the lap of Ukrainian defenders neighbouring Bohusławka.
- After fresh defeats, the Russians send reinforcements to Kupańsk to regain their initiative. It looks like the Ukrainians' opposition was stopped there.
- Ukraine rejected Witkoff and Trump's plan to renounce Donbas for Russia.
