Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 16.11.2025):
- On the night of Saturday to Sunday, Ukrainian drones attacked targets in Russian Federation and Crimea. Among others, Volgograd was hit. On the another hand, the Russians one more time hit the airport in Starokonstantin.
- On the Zaporosian section, Russian forces managed to wing Ukrainian positions in the alleged citadel (high-rise dividers) Stepnohirska. Equally important, Jablukovo fell, located north of Hulaipola.
- The Russians entered from the south to Novova. The counterattack to throw them out failed.
- Ukrainian peculiar forces conducted a successful counterattack in the northern part of Pokrowska. It is unclear whether this allowed safe evacuation of the soldiers around Myrnograd as it did not change the fact of drone control over the full area.
- As many as 1,200 Ukrainian prisoners of war will be released as part of the exchange agreed by Ukraine and Russia during the talks which were sponsored by Turkey and the UAE.
