Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 16.07.2025):
- After very dense fighting, the Russians occupied the key village of Woskriesienka. This allows in the future to bypass the lines of permanent fortifications, built by Ukrainians on Zaporozh as far as Hulaipol.
- Under Pokrowski, the defence of Zwirov yet collapsed.
- On the Kostiantini section, Russian forces took control of Nowospaskie. Ukrainians stationed in neighboring Szczerbyniwiec were surrounded. However, any of them went north. At the same time, attacks on Oleksandro-Kalin and Jabluniwka continue. It could produce another akin boiler.
- After a series of failed assaults on Siwiersk, the Russians returned there to regular artillery shellings and drone attacks on anything moving. The goal is to reduce the defence and carry out further attacks.
- On the Buyan section, Russian troops managed to break Ukrainian defence east of Piszczane.
- There are further Russian attempts to take control of Junakivka on the summarist front.
- The Faithful Council of Ukraine extended the martial law until early November.
