Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 12.03.2026):

  • More than 40 Ukrainian officers were injured as a consequence of a drone attack on a police station in Szostka, Sumskie Oblast. As the Ukrainian Ministry of Interior informed, the building was completely destroyed.
  • Ukraine carried out a rocket strike on an industrial facility in Russian Briansk associated with the production of rocket components for the Russian Army. The Russian authorities reported that 7 people were killed as a consequence of the attack and more than 40 were injured.

  • Russia powerfully criticized Ukraine and large Britain after hitting Briansk, identifying them as “a terrorist attack”. The Russian abroad Ministry accused London of participating in the escalation of the conflict by providing Ukraine with long-range missiles.

  • The Ukrainian forces are conducting local counterattacks and maneuvering activities to recover tiny areas of territory in certain sections of the front.

  • According to the Ukrainian command in the fresh period, the Ukrainian forces managed to recover about 400 km2 of territory in the area of the Dynepropetrovsk region and adjacent sections of the front. Russia, in turn, claims that its troops keep offensive force and are making advancement in any front sectors, especially in Donbasa.

  • The Russians proceed to build a “security zone” along the Ukrainian border. To this end, they crossed it in a fresh location, occupying the village of Red Zoria in the Sumic region.
