Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 09.01.2026):

• On the night of Thursday Friday, there was a massive Russian drone attack in Ukraine. The strikes took place in Kiev, Krzywny Horn and Lviv, among others. There's been reports of fatalities and a twelve wounded. In respective regions there is no electricity and hot water in the taps.
• Ukrainian drones hit a Russian tanker in the Black Sea.
• North of Hulaipol, the Russians invaded the village of Brackie, along with adjacent farmland. Moreover, they reached the railway line close the village of Nowe Pole.
• Further Russian advancement in Nowopawliwka. Already most of the city is under control of Moscow.
• West of the Jaru Times, Ukrainians were driven out of defensive positions in Wiroliubiwka.
• The Russians have launched effective counterattacks under Kupinsk. Petropave's in their hands again.
