Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 05.03.2026):
- Russian drones and rockets hit water infrastructure in the Kiev Oblast. Drinking water treatment stations were destroyed.
- W The Nicholas Russian rocket destroyed a railway transhipment station, including a depot that carried chemicals.
- Ukrainian drones attacked Volgograd. According to the Russian authorities, most of them were knocked down before reaching the city.
- On the Zaporosian section, the Russians occupied Ukrainian fortifications, located west of Zaliznicze.
- Ukrainians proceed to approach the Sprinkle. However, its pace has declined markedly, with the strengthening of its positions by the opponent.
- No crucial changes on the another front sections.
- Ukraine called on the rug the diplomat of Hungary in connection with information about the transfer by Russia of 2 POWs who besides had Hungarian citizenship. Kiev accuses Moscow and Budapest of utilizing the prisoner of war case for political purposes.
