Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 04.09.2025):
- On the Zaporosian section, the Russians were approaching west of Janwarne. According to uncertain reports, they entered the village of Nowoseliwka.
- To the east of Kostiantiniwka, 1 of the Ukrainian diversionary troops changed into Russian uniforms, broke through the line of contact and killed respective Russian soldiers. The action caused quite a few confusion with the enemy, so that the attacks in the area became considerably weaker.
- On the Siwierski section, the Ukrainian defence of the village of Pereizne collapsed. Thus, Russian troops went to Siwierska from the south, a distance of 6 km.
- The Russians have blocked the Kupansk and control about 20% of its surface. The fighting in the city takes place in its northern part.
- While in Beijing, Putin one more time invited Zelenski to have peace talks in Moscow.
