Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 02.05.2025):
- 14 people were injured as a consequence of a series of Russian drone attacks on the city of Zaporozhye.
- To the north of large Novosylka, the Russians undertook another effort to occupy the village of Shevchenko.
- Russian forces launched an offensive on the Pokrów section. Tough fights are underway for Newoleksandrivka and Successful. Moreover, the reconnaissance and diversion groups managed to penetrate the territory of Pokrowska. Taking control of at least part of the city is intended to be a propaganda success for the Kremlin, which the authorities will boast during the 9 May celebration.
- Ukrainians were driven from the east part of Malinivka.
- The Russians occupied the forest and mine north of the Jaru Times.
- A Serebrianka was bombed on the Siwersky section.
- Fights are underway for the village of Bilowody on the Kursko-sumski front. According to unconfirmed reports, she's already under Russian control.
