Conclusions only end November. Parents can number on an injection of cash

This is the last bell to receive an additional PLN 300. Of course, we are talking about the provision of the Good Start, which is due to all students who fulfil the school obligation. According to the Social Insurance Institution, nearly 4 million benefits have already been paid in this year's edition of the programme, which shows that the interest is truly great. But it's not worth waiting till the end, due to the fact that whoever's late won't get the money.
Good Start benefits include parents and guardians of students studying in primary schools, advanced schools, post-secondary schools and another educational institutions. 300 plus may besides be awarded to adult students who are not dependent on their parents, as well as self-employed persons who leave foster care. As Grzegorz Dyjak from ZUS press office said - "The number of benefits paid out from the Good Start programme from 1 July to 18 September this year amounted to 3 million 968,000, and the amount of benefits paid 1 billion PLN 190 million". This one-time benefit may not only be useful for the acquisition of a school trip, but besides for any additional costs that are not missing from the beginning of the year.

300 PLN additional support for all students
The Good Start program is simply a one-time support of PLN 300 for all kid learning from 7 to 20 years of age, and for people with disabilities up to 24 years of age. The benefit, which is important, is granted regardless of the parents' income and may be utilized for the acquisition of textbooks, notebooks and another essential school supplies.
Money is paid to parents' bank accounts, but to receive it, you gotta apply. Here 1 must remember that, as with e.g. 800 plus, it can only be done via the Internet, through respective dedicated channels. These are the mZUS application, the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) ZUS, electronic banking or the Emp@tia portal.
The deadline for the application for benefits is 30 November. The applicant shall receive a benefit in September, October or November within 2 months of its submission.


Important change to the program
As of this school year (2025/2026) there is 1 change in granting 300 plus - refugees from Ukraine receive a benefit provided that the kid is educated in a school belonging to the Polish education strategy (as in the case of paid money from 800 plus).
