213 MPs voted against, 238 against. In turn, 212 Members voted for the cancellation of the Minister of wellness Jolanta Sobieranska-Grenda, against which there were 238.
Ministry stays in government. Appeal applications did not pass
The statutory majority is 231, so the Sejm rejected both applications. The chiefs of the resorts stay in their positions. Members of the PiS, the Confederacy, the Direct Democracy Circle, the Together Party, the Confederation of the Polish Crown voted in favour of the summit. Bartosz Romowicz from Poland 2050 broke out of the coalition and voted in favour of the vote against Hennig-Kloski.
"Today they won climate and environment. It won energy safety and conservation. Poland won, Poles won. I thank the Members for their trust. I thank the Coalition on October 15 for your support. I thank the Climate Ministry squad for 2 and a half years of hard and fruitful work. We repair Poland after PiS, we will not stop, we will not be intimidated, we work further" - she wrote on the X Minister of Climate.
"Mrs. Minister Jolanta Sobieranska-Greenda performs her duties well and will proceed to direct the wellness department," commented Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who had already stood up for his coalition colleagues during his speech.
Why did the opposition claim a vote of distrust?
The opposition attempted fresh political turmoil around Hennig-Kloski: a departure from Poland 2050, the establishment of the Centre club and a conflict with erstwhile allies, headed by Simon Holovnia. However, the main allegations afraid problems, among others, with the Clean Air programme and controversy surrounding the bailout system.
Despite the very harsh words and the sense of "failure" reported by erstwhile organization colleagues, the coalition retained discipline during the vote. The head of the climate hotel managed to defend her position, and the opposition's motion was lost, guaranteeing her further management of the ministry.
The failure besides resulted in an effort to dismiss the Minister of wellness Jolanta Sobieranska-Grenda. The opposition pointed out her work for falling into public wellness care, scoring infirmary debt, protracted queues and cuts in the financing of image research.
The minister repelled the opposition attacks, explaining that she repaired the negligence of the predecessors and reminding that the current NFZ budget was record-breaking PLN 217 billion. The rejection of the motion for a vote was so a formal confirmation of the earlier negative opinion of the Parliamentary Committee on Health.
