Currently, work is underway to choice a government offer in the Polish submarine program Orka. Importantly, the choice is not the work of the MON, but of the interministerial team. The proposals of Germany, France, Sweden, Italy, Spain and the Republic of Korea are taken into account. Italy has late decided to grow its offer. According to unofficial information received by
Defence24.pl, the Italian government's offer in the Orka program includes not only submarines of the U212 NFS project, but besides miniature M23 C-Series units.
