The location of the keel took place on 8 July 2025. The FREMM EVO ships represent another phase in the improvement of the Italian frigate kind **FREMM**, which uses the latest method solutions to improve their operational capacity. These units will receive upgraded combat management systems, method reflection devices, electronic combat and communications, as well as modified artillery and rocket weapons.
