Italy with fresh tanks and BWP? aid Brussels and Hungary

The Lynx armored vehicles and Panther tanks can be purchased by Italy (teaming with Hungary) thanks to funds from the EU's SAFE debt program. Joint purchases were to be discussed on Monday at a gathering between Giorgia Meloni and Viktor Orban in Rome. "The leaders discussed the opportunities offered by the European SAFE programme, assessing possible synergies between Italy and Hungary in order to support their respective industrial and technological capacities", quotes the defence News portal, citing the environment of the Italian Prime Minister.
