The head of the Italian Ministry of abroad Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani in an interview with the paper "Corriere della Sera", welcomed the invitation to Italy to be an observer of the Council of Peace, formed by US president Donald Trump. Washington proposed this solution, as the Italian constitution prevents accession to the Council.
