Italy: a modern ship for the Navy

The construction agreement for this ship was concluded on 20 December 2021 between the industrial consortium created by Fincantieri and Leonardo, and the Italian government representing the European Organisation for Cooperation and Cooperation in the Armed Forces (OCCAR) (OCCAR). The contract amounted to EUR 410 million and included, in addition to building the unit itself, ten-year operational and logistical support. However, it does not cover the cost of arms and another military equipment.
