During a Saturday demonstration in central London against the ban on the operation of the Palestine Action organization, 523 people aged 18 to 87 were detained, reported the London Metropolitan Police on Saturday to Sunday.
Police explained that there were detentions erstwhile participants expressed support for the banned organization.
Hundreds of people gathered on Saturday in Trafalgar Square, and many of them carried banners with the inscription “I Am Against Genocide. I support Palestine Action", which has already been seen during erstwhile protests organised by this group. There were besides posters with another slogans, and any demonstrators declared their support for defending the right to protest and opposed the United States and Israel.
Supporting the Palistine Action became a crime in July 2025 erstwhile the government under anti-terrorist government included this group on the list of banned organizations.
