Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that a pilot program of universal defence training would be launched this year. “Not everyone will become a soldier, but everyone is called to defend their homeland,” said the Deputy Prime Minister and reported that a peculiar application was prepared that would make it easier for curious people to find the right training.
Today we have learned further details of the program of universal defence training. As Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish reported, the pilot action is scheduled to begin on 15 November, and on a full-scale training will take place from 1 January 2026. “This is the consequence of a fewer months of intensive work to formulate the best training strategy in Europe,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
As the head of the MON explained, the program will consist of respective training modules, specified as first aid or cybersecurity. Their thematic scope and form will vary according to the age of participants. As announced by Kosiniaka-Kamisha curious in taking part in the training, a peculiar application will be made available, prepared by the Command of the Cyberspace Army Component. It will aid willing to go step by step through the registration process and find the most suitable offer. There is besides a peculiar module for companies that will let training in the selected field for full teams. On the another hand, if individual is curious in the anticipation of voluntary essential military service, the application will show him the possibilities at present.
The strategy was developed by specialists from the Ministry of National Defence and the General Staff of the Polish Army. As announced by the head of the Defence Ministry, the details of the general training programme will be presented shortly at a peculiar conference.
