During his visit to the Republic of Korea, the delegation held talks with president Lee Jae-myung and Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, as well as representatives of state administration and parliament. Cooperation in the defence sector was a key area of discussion, 1 of the pillars of bilateral relations, including the improvement of joint projects, the transfer of technology and the strengthening of industrial competences. During the talks on the defence area, Paweł Bejda met with Deputy Minister of Defence Masahis Miyazaki, focusing on strengthening military cooperation, exchanging experience and building long-term safety cooperation mechanisms.

The visit confirmed the increasing importance of Poland's relations with the east Asian countries, and its key consequence was to rise relations with both the Republic of Korea and Japan to the level of a comprehensive strategical partnership.
